Monikulttuurinen työ - Multicultural work

Olarin seurakunnan monikulttuurisen työn tavoitteena on kohdata ja tukea ulkomaalaistaustaisia ihmisiä heidän erilaisissa elämänkysymyksissään ja elämäntilanteissaan riippumatta heidän uskonnollisesta taustastaan. Yhteistyötä tehdään Espoon eri seurakuntien kanssa sekä verkostoyhteistyönä alueen muiden toimijoiden kanssa.

Olemme järjestäneet yhteisiä tapahtumia mm. 2009 YK:n päivänä ja retkiä mm. Hämeenlinnaan keväällä 2010.

The purpose of our Christian mission in the Olari parish is to meet and
support people from all multicultural backgrounds, regardless of their own
religious faith(s), belief or traditions. Our parish in co-operation with all Espoo Lutheran parishes, building links through other groups in this area, aims to provide a service helping the non-native Finnish born population.

Together with the other parishes of Espoo we have organized Christian events for example in United Nations Day. Spring 2010 we were on a trip to Hämeenlinna. In the future, there are plans to organize a small one-day trip to Mustasaari Helsinki.

We want to interact with people finding their way into our society. This is
achieved by our partnerships with existing church networks and developing
new contacts for you, your family, friends and associations.
